Computers will sometimes land on a property then put it up for auction, then they try there hardest to bid on it even if it goes above original price.

Im a type of person whos skills-set allows me to dominate in all my monopoly games. Im undefeated. I make 7 year olds cry and fill 90 year olds with minutes of regret. This monopoly app is very well produced. Images are flawless. Now for the problems. Im on a monopoly level where no one will play a game with me anymore. I rely heavily on the AI opponents provided within the app. The programming of this app leads me to have several issues involving real world gameplay. Firstly: over my many games of monopoly Ive been able to get a feel for how the die are going to roll. More often than not, the numbers which are rolled in the app are too "convenient" for a real world simulation. If someone just built a hotel, someone is going to land on it within the next round. Secondly: to springboard from my first complaint of convenience, the AI always seems to be able to predict whats going to happen next and plans for it. For example, the AI will stop after building one house on each property leaving over 2000 in the bank. An average player would max out their budget to build houses in hopes that someone will land on it before their next turn. The computer always seems to know when theyre going to land on another players property in advance and plans their budget accordingly. So where the average player is going to lose money mortgaging and reselling houses, the computer is exempt from mortgages. Thirdly: the difficulty level of the AI seems to stem primarily from the ability to make trades with the AI. Level three doesnt allow any trade and level one allows all trade. Fourthly (is that even a word?): More players! Monopoly is amazing when you can max out the number of players playing. Three opponents is a good start but five would be much more entertaining. Lastly: itd be cool if we could change up the game a bit in the settings. While the average house rules are included others arent: immunity isnt an option (i.e. If youre trading for the third property for your set, itd be nice to offer a one or two stop immunity for that player whos trading you the final property). Another house rule which hasnt been fully exploited is the option of building unlimited houses/hotels. Once youre at your first hotel thats your max earning potential. All in all an amazing game if you have players in the same room as you, but if youre playing against the computer youre out of luck.

This game is unbeatable, even on difficulty 1. Its ridiculous. The dice are clearly rigged and the AI is fixed to win. No matter how much money you have or properties you own...you lose. You are consistently unlucky and the AI is the opposite. I thought it was me at first, but Ive played this game over 10 times with the same results every time smh. You could literally have 4-5 full properties with houses on them and the AI almost never lands on them. But they could have 1-2 and you will land on them consistently. Very frustrating. Save your dollar.

I dont know if its only on difficulty 3 which is the hardest, but the "difficulty" just rigs the game against your favor. It rigs your dice to land on the luxury tax, other peoples hotels, and it also rigs the CPUs to give each other monopolys just so you dont win. Rigging the game makes the game very unfair and unfun.

Dont get me wrong, I love Monopoly. Im not a bad player, I actually typically win most of the games that I play. But the dice on this app are undeniably rigged. For example, I played a game where the AI continuously landed on all of my properties, UNTIL I figured itd be a good idea to put hotels on them, then the AI just stopped landing on all of them, over and over and over. Itd get high numbers and skip right over my properties, back onto its own properties. Somehow, Id always get numbers that resulting in me landing on their most powerful properties, typically the greens. Eventually, I had to mortgage almost everything, and THEN the AI landed on my things, after they were already mortgaged. Prepare to be stressful, because the chances of being "unlucky" can be high in these games.

Clearly the dice throws are not random when playing against the AI. This doesnt mean the dice outcome is predetermined to land on a specific square. Just that dice throw is no longer neutral to landing on all available spaces, but bias toward an unfavorable outcome to compensate for poor AI logic. This also doesnt mean you cant win, because the AI makes stupid trades. Once you figure out how to trade with AI, you will win against three AI opponents 75% of the time. I have seen this before, its hard work to build a good AI. Much easier to give favorably dice throws to AI, than spend time and money building good intelligent AI.

Never thought Id regret spending one dollar, but here we are. Where to begin? Probability is thrown out the window. The game I rage quit was riddled with improbable outcomes. For instance, the last three available properties were going to decide the game. The ai had two of each of the aforementioned properties, so me buying them would put the ai in a predicament to where Id eventually bleed it of money, as I had the only monopoly on the board with the pinks. Well what did the ai do? Three turns landed on exactly all three properties. The ai went from zero monopolies to three. Whats more, is that it wasnt landing on any of my properties. I was landing on every property owned by the ai. What did it do immediately after? Hotels on every property it just bought. What did I land on two times in a row? The hotels. Now youre saying, "but this was an isolated incident, surely." Nope. This has happened every single game Ive played. Not once have I won a game, and not once had it been enjoyable or even contentious. Now for more of why this game is worthy of zero stars. The help & about section isnt working, the statistics section isnt working, and I cant host my own online game, or join one in progress, which means Im only able to play against the computer. "why dont you just change the computer difficulty?" I forgot to mention that that doesnt work either. So much is broken on this game, and its unfortunate. None of the real-world strategies work in this game at all. There is no such thing as statistics and probability in this game; only certainty. Its a certainty that you will lose every single game that you play. Expect nothing more.

Thats it, just like the title states, I want my money back. The game is rigged. The dice are loaded I the computers favor. I owned over 85-90% of the board and still lose? Ok. I want my money back. Im returning a defective product. I want my money back!

The AI literally land on anything but your property that would put them in a hole. I had an AI end up go to jail three times in a row to avoid passing by my side of the board (controlled from park place to st charles)

I owned the entire board except for 1 monopoly. My opponent, the medium AI, owned that monopoly. The medium AI lands on none of my properties, none of the bad squares, and gets nothing but free money from community chest and chance. I land on all the bad squares, always lose money from chance and community chest, and always land on his monopoly whenever I go around the board. I have to mortgage everything, sell houses/hotels, while my opponent builds his 3 green properties up to hotels and bankrupts me. What could be the odds of that?

Its a awesome game but just need at least a new update with new cards an it should just look more modern please

Thank you for such an amazing game, I would prefer even level 4 difficulty level, really realistic with many options. Please introduce a 3rd speed dice as an option! :)

Difficulty levels just change you dice roll luck. If you put it on hard it just rapes you with bad roll after bad roll. Total crap.

You guys must be trash at monopoly if you are playing the lowest difficulty and losing 10 in a row. I understand that luck can sometimes not be with us, but you guys are overstating this.

Its been almost a year since any performance or bug fixes. This is still the only monopoly game we have thats decent for iPhone and still classic.

The computer rolls are literally so rigged. Trash is a compliment to this broken and cheap waste of time that happens to be an app
